No matter the time of year the nature reserve will charm you. It's located outside Valencia. Albufera is Spain's largest fresh water lake. It is one of the most important wet lands of the Iberian Peninsula. It welcomes migratory birds throughout the winter months. The nutrient-rich water offers perfect conditions for both fishermen and rice farmers. Other must-dos are eating paella and visiting the beautiful Mediterranean beaches. 

On this excursion you visit the village El Palmar. There you will view a 'Barraca'-house where locals used to live. Then,  a leisurely boat ride awaits you, a favourite pastime of Valencians.
